The Monkey's paw essay

What if in this world, there's an item that can make anybody three wishes? At first you are going to think that that's awesome, and forget about the consequences this wish can give you back, wishes can be good at the moment, but nothing in this world is free, in the story of "the monkey's paw" by W.W Jacob uses the well known story about three granted wishes and puts a twist creating a horror type of story. This epic story starts in the house of the White family, Mr and Mrs White and their son Herbert, in a dark rainy night, sergeant Morris visits the white family and brings a monkey's paw and Sergeant Morris explains the White family thats magical and they can make three wishes and also warn them about the consequences and think before they wish it, which aparently the white family didn't believe him and also didn't care about it.
The Next day Mr White wishes for two hundred pounds, they had everything but they wanted to prove that it was real, suddently their son Herbert died in a catastrophic accident in his job, which the factory compensates the death by giving them 200 punds, this is where the suspense begins, after 10 days Mrs white wishes for his sin to come back, this would make 2 wishes and left just 1, suddently they hear three nocks on the door and Mrs. White goes running to the door and thinking that it was his son herbert, but Mr White makes another wish before she sees him, and ends with a silent opening door with no one outside.
The main reason of thinking on what you wish for, it's because anything in this world is free, there's gotta be a way to make them real, in this case they received the 200 hundred pounds but the Fakir taked his sons life, the second wish Mrs. White wishes for his son to come back, which came back but after 10 days of being dead, and came back lloking like a zombie thats why Mr White wished the third wish. This story has a forshadowing, sergeant major gave them the monkey's paw, and warned about it, and i think something haooened to sergeant major too, that's why it reflects back on the White family. Be careful what you wish for, and think on the consequences this wish can give you back, even though it seems imposible to make a wish real, you have to think on how is going to change your life.
